Phase 1 - Foundations

LED Blinking
If you're aged 10+, you're welcome to participate—no prior experience needed!
Project 2
Potentiometer-controlled Blinking
Learners need to bring a laptop with Arduino IDE installed. Installation details will be emailed a week prior.
Project 3
Digital Trumpet
A group of curious learners working together in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Project 4
LCD “Hello, World!”

Phase 2 - Sensors & Control

Project 5
Photoresistor
Participants will explore basic electronics, Arduino, and coding through hands-on projects. They’ll receive a welcome kit with essential components and clear instructions to set goals for the 30-day DIY Challenge.
Project 6
Distance Sensor
Kids will dive into circuits, components, and their functions while getting an introduction to Arduino and coding. They’ll also receive an overview of the 30-day DIY Challenge, featuring 16 exciting at-home projects to reinforce learning and spark creativity.

HC-05 Bluetooth: Control RGB LED - HC-05 pairing + serial commands
Experienced instructors will provide mentorship throughout, helping kids build confidence as they experiment and explore new concepts.

Project 11 (part 1)
Object Detective – Static image inference  + object detection + position reporting

Object Detective – Live camera inference + frame-by-frame analysis with result actions
Kids will dive into circuits, components, and their functions while getting an introduction to Arduino and coding. They’ll also receive an overview of the 30-day DIY Challenge, featuring 16 exciting at-home projects to reinforce learning and spark creativity.

Toy Recognition - Dataset preparation +  ML training

What is Electro Champ Program?

The Electro Champ program is a 18-session series with 1-hour classes designed for kids 9+ to learn electronics, coding, and AI with hands-on projects. It helps build creativity and tech skills in a fun, interactive way.

Who can attend the Electro Champ Program?

The program is open to kids aged 9 and above who want to learn about AI & electronics. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and enthusiasm!

What will I learn in the Electro Champ Program?

In this program, participants will get a hands-on introduction to basic AI & electronics, learning about circuits, components, AI technology and how to build simple devices. You’ll also receive guidance on your first DIY AI & electronics project.

Participants will learn basic electronics, circuits, Arduino coding, and beginner AI through hands-on projects. The program includes 18 interactive sessions that build skills and creativity with DIY challenges.

Do I need any prior experience or knowledge to attend?

No, this program is designed for beginners. You don’t need any prior knowledge of electronics, and we’ll guide you step by step through the activities.

When and where will the program take place?

The program will be held in person at our designated venue at Frisco, TX (details will be emailed in advance). The exact time and date are already published on the Program registration page.

Yes! You will receive all the necessary materials and tools for the hands-on portion of the program. You’ll also get access to online resources to help you with your DIY at-home projects.
